Thanks to all that showed up to the Illinois Press Photographers Association contest and convention this past weekend in Champaign. I have helped run the contest for four or five years, but this year had to be my favorite. Maybe being at the site of my alma mater had something to do with it!
I would say it's a safe bet that most look forward to this conference for inspiration. Four speakers with various freelance and staff backgrounds shared their in-depth work with both student and full-time photographers. Seeing that news holes are shrinking, it's great to see how papers still appreciate and devote space for photo projects. The difference these days is how most papers will now incorporate this for web use.
In other news, I worked on coding a Web site for WBC lightweight champion David Diaz. Click here to view his site.
Also, I have added new videos and increased the size of my original multimedia projects. You can check them out under the multimedia section of my site. Thanks for stopping by.
